Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Cashier in Vandalia, Ohio to provide a friendly, efficient parking experience. You will handle payments, issue receipts, and guide customers through the facility.

The role requires accuracy in cash handling, good math skills, and a courteous, helpful attitude. Shifts may include evenings or weekends, with uniform and training provided. Tips may be earned in addition to hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Education: Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Availability to Work: Special shift requirements may vary by location; 2nd/3rd shift and weekends may be required.
• License: Valid state-issued driver’s license if driving company vehicle or business.
• Mathematical skills: Add, subtract, multiply and divide; make change.
• Language skills: Read/write simple instructions and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Treat each customer with respect and kindness.
• Be punctual, in uniform, and ready to assist customers.
• Counts and manages revenue at start of shift; maintains cash integrity.
• Handles cash/validations and issues receipts or tickets.
• Compute bill from ticket and display cost on register.
• Provide directions to locations and assist customers.
