SP+ Corporation in Vandalia, Ohio, is seeking a cashier to create a smooth, customer-friendly experience for parking clients. You will handle payments, issue receipts, and assist customers with directions and inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include daily revenue accounting, cash handling, and maintaining booth cleanliness. Eligible benefits and tips accompany the $14.00–$15.00 hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Availability to Work: Some locations may require 2nd/3rd shift or weekends.
• License Requirement: Valid state-issued driver’s license if driving on company business.
• Mathematical skills: Add/subtract/multiply/divide with whole numbers, fractions, decimals.
• Language skills: Read/write simple instructions and present information.
• Reasoning ability: Follow standard instructions and solve basic problems.
• Other skills and abilities: Use clock, calculator or credit card machine for transactions; maintain a pleasant demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Receive payment for parking services and facilitate traffic flow in the facility.
• Answer telephones promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness of booth and surrounding area.
• Record transactions and prepare shift reports.
• Resolve customer issues with supervisor assistance when needed.
