Job summary

SP+ in Los Angeles is hiring a parking attendant to guide drivers, assign spaces and maintain order in the garage. You will count vehicles, issue warnings, and assist customers with questions while ensuring the lot remains clean and safe.

Role requires punctuality, uniform presentation, and knowledge of local streets. Occasional shifts beyond standard hours may be needed, with opportunities for career advancement within the SP+ network.

Qualifications

• Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location throughout shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies.
• Patrol transient and reserved parking levels on foot or in customized motor carts, if applicable.
• Provide assistance to customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
• Required to be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Assist Customers by answering questions or directing to the Facility Manager.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks.
• Report accidents, possible violations, safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills to garage office.
• Substitute for Valets when necessary.
• Know all areas of the garage and major streets in the area.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
