Job summary

SP+ is hiring a Parking Attendant in Houston to help keep the location safe, organized, and welcoming. You will direct customers to spaces, monitor vehicles, and enforce garage policies while assisting guests with parking needs.

The role requires punctuality, neat appearance, basic math, and a valid driver’s license. Training is provided; benefits include medical and 401k, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Less than High School education or one month related experience.
• License: Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Availability: Shift availability, including potential weekends or 2nd/3rd shifts.
• Language: Ability to read simple instructions and communicate clearly.
• Math: Basic arithmetic with money.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policies.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or via motor carts.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Maintain punctuality and wear uniform.
• Assist customers or refer to Facility Manager for help.
• Control traffic at entrances/exits as needed.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment and tasks as directed.
• Report accidents and unsafe conditions to Facility Manager.
• Notify garage office about debris or spills.
• Substitute for Valets when needed.
• Know all garage areas, streets, landmarks and routes.
