Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Parking Cashier - Driving in Billings, MT. You will handle payments for parking services and help manage traffic at the gate.

Responsibilities include collecting cash and validations, issuing receipts, counting the revenue bank, giving directions, resolving customer questions, and maintaining a clean booth. A driver’s license and basic math skills are required. The job includes evening/weekend shifts and benefits after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, make change.
• License: valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive payment for parking services and facilitate traffic flow at the gate.
• Count revenue at start of shift and verify starting total.
• Collect cash and/or validations and maintain security of cash.
• Issue receipts or tickets and compute amounts due.
• Operate cash register and display transaction cost to customer.
• Provide directions to customers and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
• Maintain booth cleanliness and inventory of supplies.
• Prepare shift transaction reports and reconcile banked revenue.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
