Overview

OBJECTIVE: Team Members are the initial contact between guests and Kids Empire. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing any questions or comments that guests may have while present at Kids Empire. Team Member workers perform many tasks with the families and peers throughout the park to ensure the guests are having an excellent and safe time while at Kids Empire.

Essential Job Functions

• Attending customers as quickly as possible, greeting them accordingly, and making them feel comfortable in the ambiance of the park.
• Operating the check-in process by having guests sign the liability waiver and collect guest information (address, name, email, phone number) using an IPad.
• Operating the front cash counter: receiving the exact bill amount, managing cash flow, processing payments by cash or card, and providing exact change when needed.
• Verifying billing transactions with the POS to ensure accuracy.
• Organizing the refreshment area with drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream.
• Checking snack inventory and coordinating with management to order replenishments from specified vendors.
• Walking the floor to monitor for unsafe hazards and ensure guests follow park rules and guidelines.
• Cleaning restrooms and sanitizing park structures (tables, chairs, playground structures).
• Assisting and participating in family events and ensuring events operate efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, bend, and twist constantly.
• Frequent bilateral hand movements and good finger dexterity.
• Must be able to work in noisy environments created by guests, such as children yelling and music.
• Must be able to tolerate a hectic and busy work environment during scheduled hours.
• Must be comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
