Description

OBJECTIVE: Team Members are the initial contact between guests and Kids Empire. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing any questions or comments that guests may have while present at Kids Empire. Team Member workers perform many tasks with the families and peers throughout the park to ensure the guests are having an excellent and safe time while at Kids Empire.

Essential Job Functions

• Attending customers as quick as possible, greeting them accordingly, and making them feel comfortable in the ambiance of the park.
• Operating the check-in process by having guests sign the liability waiver, recording guest information such as address, name, email address, and phone number via an IPAD.
• Operating the front cash counter for receiving the exact bill amount from guests, managing cash flow by recording transactions daily, and taking payment from guests by cash or card (credit/debit), providing exact change if paid by cash.
• Verifying and processing billing transactions accurately by comparing against the amount displayed on the POS.
• Organizing the refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips and ice cream.
• Checking snack inventory is sufficient and communicating with management to order snacks from specified vendors to replenish stock.
• Walking the floor regularly to monitor for unsafe hazards and ensure guests follow park rules, regulations and guidelines.
• Cleaning restrooms and sanitizing all park structures (e.g., tables, chairs, playground structures).
• Assisting and participating in family events and ensuring events operate efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, bend, and twist constantly.
• Frequent bilateral hand movements.
• Good finger dexterity.
• Must be able to work in noisy environments created by guests, such as children yelling and music.
• Must be able to tolerate a hectic and busy work environment during scheduled hours.
• Must be comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
