Job description

Overview

Park Team Member role at Kids Empire. Team Members are the initial contact between guests and Kids Empire and are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing questions or comments from guests while present at Kids Empire. Team Members work with families and peers throughout the park to ensure guests have an excellent and safe experience.

Essential Job Functions
  • Attend to customers as quickly as possible, greet them, and make them feel comfortable in the park ambiance.
  • Operate the check-in process by having guests sign the liability waiver and collect guest information (address, name, email, phone) using an iPad.
  • Operate the front cash counter: handle transactions, manage cash flow, accept payments by cash or card, and provide exact change when paid with cash.
  • Process billing transactions accurately by verifying the amount displayed on the POS.
  • Organize the refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream; monitor snack inventory and coordinate with management to reorder from specified vendors.
  • Walk the floor regularly to monitor for unsafe hazards and ensure guests follow park rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Clean restrooms and sanitize park structures (tables, chairs, playground structures).
  • Assist and participate in family events and help ensure events operate efficiently.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, bend, and twist constantly.
  • Frequent bilateral hand movements and good finger dexterity.
  • Must be able to work in noisy environments created by guests (children yelling, music).
  • Must be able to tolerate a hectic and busy work environment during scheduled hours.
  • Must be comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
