Zusammenfassung

State of North Carolina - Natural and Cultural Resources seeks a Maintenance/Construction Technician II for Hammocks Beach State Park to maintain grounds, buildings, facilities and equipment. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and auto mechanics, with opportunities to supervise staff on special projects.

Typical schedule is Wednesday–Saturday from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., with possible evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifikationen

• High school or GED and 1 year of progressive experience in the trades.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• EPA certification possibility: Type I/II/III or Universal technician as required by law.

Aufgaben

• Perform a variety of semi-skilled tasks in trades such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and facility maintenance, and/or auto mechanics.
• Operate large and small equipment or tools.
• Purchase resources in accordance with state policies and procedures.
• Maintain records and prepare operational forms.
• Assist in housekeeping and supervise temporary staff or volunteers on projects.
