Job summary

The Archdiocese of Chicago seeks a Part-Time Operations Director for St. Matthias School in Lincoln Square to lead financial, school, buildings, HR and information systems.

You will partner with the Pastor, Principal and Vicariate Operations to manage budgets, vendor relations, payroll, and capital projects, while upholding Catholic teachings. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/Business, proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, HR leadership experience, and a strong commitment

Qualifications

• Must be Catholic and supportive of Church teachings.
• Experience in Accounting, Finance, or related business practices.
• Proven ability to identify improvements and implement solutions.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
• Experience in HR practices, including leadership and recruitment.
• Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees parish budgets, financial statements, GL, and payables/receivables.
• Manages vendor relations, contracts, and capital projects.
• Directs HR policies and payroll/benefits administration.
• Maintains parish records and IT systems.
• Leads weekly staff meetings and project plans.
