Job summary

The Archdiocese of Chicago seeks an Operations Director to lead parish financial and operational strategy across St Alphonsus and St Josaphat. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management or closely related field.
• Experience in accounting, finance, or not-for-profit operations.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, evaluate, and communicate parish and school budgets, annual reports, P&L, balance sheet, AR/AP, and general ledger.
• Develop monthly variance reports and reforecasts; review with Pastor/Principal.
• Ensure internal controls; manage parish accounts, banking relationships, and tax compliance.
• Oversee school finance models, tuition pricing, financial aid, and enrollment impact.
• Direct buildings, HR, communications, and project management across parish operations.
