Job summary

Church of the Nativity seeks a Parish Business Manager to support the Pastor in daily operations, coordinating financial, administrative, and operational activities to steward parish resources responsibly.

The role collaborates with staff, volunteers, and diocesan offices to implement processes, manage budgets, payroll, and HRIS systems, and ensure compliant internal controls in a faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of six years of experience in business operations, financial administration, or a related area.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
• Experience within a Catholic environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development and administration of the parish budget.
• Monitor financial performance and prepare financial reports for the Pastor and Finance Council.
• Liaise with Diocesan Shared Accounting Services (DSAS) on financial matters.
• Coordinate accounts payable, receivable, and related activities; ensure internal controls.
• Supervise administrative staff and support parish operations.
