Job summary

Archdiocese of Denver seeks a dedicated Parish Business Operations Manager to oversee finance, HR, facilities, and office administration for a vibrant Colorado parish. You will partner with the Pastor and MSC to align resources with the evangelizing mission of the Church.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a faith-based nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, HR, nonprofit management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible leadership or management experience.
• Experience in finance, operations, human resources, nonprofit management, or Catholic parish administration preferred.
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting executive leadership and managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to the Pastor on operational, financial, and administrative matters.
• Collaborate with the Pastor on strategic planning and parish priorities.
• Oversee day-to-day parish office operations and personnel management.
• Work with staff to establish clear, measurable goals and monitor progress.
• Coordinate major parish projects with timely communication and accountability.
• Liaise with Archdiocesan Mission Support Center and other departments.
• Foster a healthy staff culture and support volunteer engagement.
• Support conflict resolution among staff, volunteers, and parishioners.
