Job summary

St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish and School is seeking a qualified business manager to join its leadership team. The role provides oversight of administrative, financial, HR, and operational functions to support the Church's mission.

The successful candidate will advise the Pastor, manage payroll and benefits, coordinate with the Archdiocese, handle contracts with vendors, and ensure proper record-keeping and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant business, finance, accounting, or administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Pastor on business, financial, and administrative matters
• Manage parish and school financial operations, including budgeting, banking, reporting, and internal controls
• Coordinate financial reporting with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis
• Oversee payroll processing, employee benefits administration, and human resources compliance
• Manage employee onboarding, personnel records, and employment documentation
• Serve as the primary liaison with the Archdiocesan Human Resources Department
• Administer contracts and coordinate services with vendors and contractors
• Collaborate with parish and school leadership on financial and operational planning
• Maintain parish records and ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned to support parish and school operations

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
