Job summary

St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lutz is seeking an enthusiastic Facilities & Maintenance team member to keep our campus clean and functional during evening and weekend activities. This hands-on role supports parish life and guest experiences.

Responsibilities include daily and weekly upkeep, event setup according to calendars and forms, light repairs, and collaboration with staff, volunteers, and guests. Safe Environment training and a Level II background check are required.

Qualifications

• Good communication and courteous service.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience setting up AV equipment (mic, laptop, TV, projector).
• Background screening and Safe Environment training required.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Practicing Catholic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep parish grounds, church, youth center, preschool (occasionally), and parish center clean, stocked, and orderly.
• Follow daily/weekly/monthly checklists.
• Set up facilities for parish events according to the calendar and usage forms.
• Collaborate with co-workers, event leaders, and guests.
• Perform minor repairs and other duties as assigned.
