Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) required.
• Ability to diagnose minor issues and work with outside vendors.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety rules and safe handling of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and minor preventive maintenance for buildings, equipment, and property.
• Provides custodial and janitorial services including cleaning, restocking, and floor care.
• Cleans and performs basic preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Sets up and breaks down furniture and equipment for parish events.
• Performs minor repairs, such as painting, basic plumbing and electrical work; reports major issues.
• Monitors for safety hazards and addresses maintenance concerns.
• Assists with general upkeep of parish facilities as needed.
