Job summary

FedEx Office in Memphis is seeking a team member to manage inbound/outbound package and mail activities across the center. You will sort, process, stage, and deliver parcels using electronic tracking, while handling customer requests and contract requirements with limited supervision.

The role requires proficiency with multiple computer systems and the physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds. You may train others and perform a variety of center functions as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
• Minimum six months of related experience required (Warehouse and/or Hospitality Experience Preferred).
• Proven strong organization and planning skills.
• Action oriented with skills and aptitude to excel in a customer-focused environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
• Ability to move 75 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all mail and shipping related services and activities; maintain log of all incoming/outgoing parcels and mail.
• Utilize package tracking system to log receiving and delivery of parcels and mail.
• Operate and maintain a mail processing machine and ensure funds for postage are available.
• May pick-up and deliver customer packages and mail throughout the venue/organization.
• Assist in training center team members and provide leadership on assigned shifts.
• Perform administrative duties such as bidding, ordering supplies and inventory control.
