Job summary

Stord, Inc. is looking for a Parcel Area Manager in Atlanta to lead a team of warehouse associates and operations leads, overseeing sortation and dock management while delivering on daily goals.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends. You will partner with HR, Safety, and Customer Service to drive results and maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated sortation systems in high-volume facilities.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
• Ability to manage carriers and drivers daily.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work overtime including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and work in a distribution center environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a warehouse team to meet daily goals.
• Own Sortation, Dock Management, and shipping operations.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other Ops leaders.
• Address operational and personnel issues affecting the area.
• Implement process improvements and workload planning.
• Utilize workload planning tools to fulfill orders.
• Investigate discrepancies and ensure quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
