Job summary

Hendrickson Transportation Group seeks a General Manager in Corpus Christi, TX to lead paratransit and small bus operations under the CCRTA contract. The role directs daily activities, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

This senior position includes budgeting, reporting to CCRTA, staff development, and representing HTG with regulators and the public. On-site work at Bear Lane Facility with potential conference travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Transportation, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience and at least 6 years in public transportation.
• Knowledge of transit regulations, FTA grants (Section 5307/5310), and ADA paratransit requirements.
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation-related technology.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all CCRTA contract operations and supervise drivers, dispatchers, and maintenance staff.
• Develop transit program goals, policies, and procedures aligned with CCRTA contracts.
• Prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts for CCRTA.
• Maintain safe, compliant, cost-effective service delivery.
• Represent the company to CCRTA, regulators, and the public.
• Coordinate with CCRTA executives and attend industry conferences.
• Oversee procurement documents for transit equipment and services.
• Ensure staff safety and adherence to labor agreements.
