Job summary

City of Greenville seeks an experienced Paratransit Operations Supervisor to oversee Greenville Area Transit paratransit service operations and supervise paratransit operators. The role includes scheduling rides, recruiting and training staff, approving timesheets, and delivering required reporting.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with laws and FTA practices, developing program guides, and maintaining safe operations, with nights, weekends, and some holidays required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, logistics, business administration, education, or related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in paratransit or transit operations.
• OR Associate's degree with seven years of progressively responsible experience in paratransit or transit operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-demand micro transit and paratransit operations for the Greenville area.
• Supervise dispatchers and operators; recruit, train, and discipline as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and FTA requirements.
• Develop operating budgets; provide ridership and stats reports.
• Prepare program guides to maximize customer access to paratransit services.
• Maintain safe work environment and conduct investigations as needed.
• Serve as relief driver/dispatcher when required.
