Job summary

City of Greenville is seeking a Paratransit Operations Supervisor to oversee Greenville Area Transit paratransit service operations, schedule rides, and supervise dispatchers and operators. The role includes recruiting, training, timesheet approval, evaluations, and reporting.

The position requires a Bachelor's or Associate's degree with several years of experience in paratransit or transit operations; a valid North Carolina Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement may be preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in public administration, logistics, business administration, education, or related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in paratransit or transit operations, logistics, supply chain management, or fleet operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-demand micro transit operations and paratransit service operations.
• Manage a team of dispatchers and operators in the delivery of on-demand micro transit and ADA paratransit services.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including FTA Contractors Manual.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices for transportation of customers with disabilities.
• Prepare accurate periodic and ad hoc reports on ridership and operating statistics, and respond to audits.
