Bright Pathways in the McKinney area is hiring for a part-time Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children. Paraprofessional experience is a great fit, and paid training is provided. The position may also be available in nearby Van Alstyne with schedule to be determined.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional experience working with students is valuable for this role.
• No RBT certification required; training is provided.
• Experience or interest in ABA therapy is a plus but not mandatory at entry level.

Responsibilities

IMPORTANT — PART-TIME, DAYTIME HOURS (McKINNEY AREA): We are currently hiring for part-time daytime opportunities in McKinney. We may also have opportunities in nearby Van Alstyne (schedule not yet established). Please make sure this general schedule works with your availability before applying.

Pay: $20–$30 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Please note: The position you will be hired into is a Behavior Technician (BT) role, providing one-on-one ABA therapy services. Your paraprofessional experience is a great fit for this work, and paid training is provided.

Are you a Paraprofessional (Para) looking for a rewarding new opportunity? Your experience working with students has already given you many of the skills needed to succeed as a Behavior Technician (BT).

If you've supported students with behavioral, social, communication, or academic needs, you're already familiar with building relationships, encouraging independence, and helping children reach their goals. We provide the training and support to help you transition into the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)—no prior RBT certification is required.

• Work one-on-one with children to build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
