Job summary

Poudre School District in Fort Collins seeks a Paraprofessional Integrated Services II for Rocky Mountain High School. This long-term substitute role runs from August 10, 2026 to about November 29, 2026, 7.5 hours per day, 186 work days.

The position supports students with significant needs in general and special education settings while aligning with IEP goals. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience, with CPI and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience required.
• Background check required for hire and CPI certification within 3 months.
• Experience with students with disabilities and behavior support preferred.
• Completion of required paraprofessional academies may be needed within two years.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers by providing instructional and physical support for students with significant needs.
• Implement behavior interventions and assist in crisis situations to ensure safety.
• Monitor students in various areas and maintain safety procedures.
• Provide personal care and mobility assistance per health plans and nursing collaboration.
• Develop self-regulation and daily living skills through guided activities.
• Maintain records on behavior, progress, and required data for IEP meetings.
