Job summary

Poudre School District seeks a Paraprofessional II – Integrated Learning Services (ILS) at Rocky Mountain High School to support students with significant needs. This long‑term substitute assignment runs Aug 10, 2026 through approximately Nov 29, 2026, 7.5 hours per day, 186 school days, with pay rate $20.42 per hour and PERA retirement benefits.

You will assist general and special education teachers, help with personal care, behavior support, and record-keeping for IEPs, while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Experience working with students with significant needs is helpful.
• CPI training must be completed within 3 months of hire.
• Criminal background check required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist general or special education teachers with instructional support for students with significant needs.
• Provide personal care, social skills and self‑regulation support as needed.
• Monitor students in classrooms, transitions and common areas; enforce safety procedures.
• Assist with hygiene, feeding, mobility and use of assistive devices as directed.
• Maintain records on student behavior, interventions and progress for IEP meetings.
