Job summary

Skill Sprouts ABA in Albuquerque, NM is seeking Paraprofessional/ Behavioral Health Technicians to support children with autism and developmental disabilities through ABA therapy.

You will work in homes, schools, and community settings under BCBA supervision, teaching essential communication and daily living skills while tracking progress and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification if required.
• Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities, is preferred.
• Patient, compassionate, dependable, and positive.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and accept feedback.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes and other service locations.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in homes, schools, and community settings.
• Follow individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, independence, and daily living skills.
• Collect accurate data to track progress and celebrate milestones.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and families.

Whether you're an experienced Paraprofessional/ Behavioral health technician or have experience working with children, education, special education, or a related field, we'd love to meet you!
