BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and assist in donor notification of unsuitable results under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance.

You will manage donor adverse events, ensure adherence to SOPs, and support EHS programs. A clinical license and CPR/AED certification are required, with at least two years in a hospital setting.

Formación

• State license/certification in EMT-B/A/I, LPN/LVN, or RN with CPR/AED.
• Minimum two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• FDA training completion for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Familiar with regulatory requirements in plasma collection.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, medical history, and screening.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage occupational health incidents with EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs.
