Job summary

AMR in Parsons, TN is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time role with hourly pay starting at $21.50 plus DOE. You will assess calls, provide advanced medical care using defibrillators, EKGs, IVs, and suction, and drive the ambulance on 911 responses while leading the Paramedic team.

Qualified candidates need a State Paramedic License, State Driver’s License, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic, and a good driving record. GED is required; healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situational to determine best course of action with Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
