Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• State Paramedic License is required; Driver's license is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and NREMT-Paramedic certifications are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine the best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Use defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV fluids for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the Paramedic team on scene and manage unit operations as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
