Job summary

AMR in Tennessee is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time role. Hourly rates start at $21.50 with DOE, and you will deliver advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.

You will lead the Paramedic team on scene, drive the ambulance on 911 responses, and collaborate with public safety and healthcare colleagues. A State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic, and GED are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Active State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Use paramedic skills with equipment to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
