Job summary

AMR is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time role in Tennessee. You will deliver high-quality emergency medical care, lead scenes, and operate essential medical equipment including defibrillators and monitoring devices. You will also drive the ambulance on 911 responses and collaborate with public safety personnel.

Qualified candidates hold a State Paramedic License, a State Driver’s License, BLS/ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification. GED required; DOE applies to hourly wages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine best course of action with Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, IV fluids for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance.
