Job summary

AMR in Parsons, Tennessee is hiring a full-time Paramedic. Hourly rates start at $21.50, DOE. You will perform advanced medical care, operate defibrillator and EKG equipment, manage IV fluids, and drive the ambulance on 911 responses while coordinating with healthcare and public safety teams.

Qualifications include State Paramedic License, Driver's License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic, along with a high school diploma or GED. Prior healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold State Paramedic License and valid driver’s license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Ability to pass Physical Agility Test and maintain driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and family, ensuring care is understood and comfort provided.
• Lead Paramedic team on scene and manage unit as needed.
• Drive ambulance on 911 responses and coordinate with allied health and public safety personnel.
