Job summary

AMR in Tennessee is hiring Paramedics for a full-time, on-site role starting at $21.50 per hour plus DOE. You’ll provide basic and advanced patient care on 911 responses, operate defibrillators, monitor EKGs, and lead on-scene units with professional collaboration.

Requirements include a State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic, high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and a solid driving record.

Qualifications

MinimumRequired Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
State Paramedic License.
State Driver’s License.
BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
Driving record in compliance with company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test.
Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while following Paramedic protocols.
Utilize Paramedic skills on equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids for advanced care.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance that care is being given.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
