AMR is immediately hiring a full-time Paramedic in Tennessee. Hourly rates start at $21.50 plus DOE.

The role involves providing advanced medical care, leading the Paramedic team on scenes, driving ambulances on 911 responses, and coordinating with public safety teams. Required qualifications include a State Paramedic License, State Driver’s License, and BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certification, plus a physical agility test.

Qualifications

• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver’s License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications are required.
• Pass Physical Agility Test is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine action with paramedic protocols.
• Use medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
