Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time position in Tennessee. You will deliver compassionate emergency medical care using Paramedic protocols. Hourly rates start at $21.50 with DOE.

Responsibilities include on-scene assessment, using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV fluids; communicating with patients; leading the Paramedic team; driving the ambulance; and coordinating with public safety and healthcare partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience preferred in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage the scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
