Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Conyers, GA is seeking a Paramedic for full-time day shift in the Emergency Department. You will work with RN, ED Techs and other staff to provide safe, compassionate patient care and rapid response to diverse ED presentations.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Must have working knowledge of medications, routes, and safety protocols.
• Assess neurological, respiratory, cardiac, GI and trauma conditions.
• Provide safe patient care with age-appropriate and culturally aware sensitivity.
• Perform EKGs and Foley catheterizations.
• Start IVs, IOs and draw blood.
• Transport patients to other departments as needed.
• Monitor patients for arrhythmias and report changes promptly.
