Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas (DICOT) is seeking a professional Paramedic for our outpatient imaging clinics. You will rapidly assess patients, monitor vitals and ECG, and provide ACLS as needed in a compassionate, patient-centered setting.

Utilize your Paramedic certification and EMT/Paramedic experience while coordinating with radiologists and technologists. Excellent communication and strong clinical skills are essential to ensure safety and smooth workflow across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Current Paramedic certification is required.
• ACLS certification required; EMT/Paramedic experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication are essential.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Familiarity with medical equipment and imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patients for adverse reactions or emergencies during imaging procedures.
• Monitor vital signs, ECG, and mental status; report abnormalities.
• Provide basic and advanced life support (ACLS) as needed.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as directed by a physician or radiologist.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and healthcare staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and medications.
• Assist with patient readiness, positioning, and overall clinical safety.
• Support supply and inventory management to ensure readiness at all times.
