Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas (DICOT) is seeking an MRI Technologist for an outpatient imaging clinic in Duncanville, TX. You will perform high-quality MRI scans, prepare and position patients, operate MRI equipment, and monitor imaging quality according to physician orders.

ARRT certification or eligibility is required; outpatient MRI experience is preferred. You will educate patients, document exams in PACS/RIS, collaborate with radiologists, and adhere to safety and infection control

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) certification or eligibility required.
• Experience in outpatient MRI setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort and safety during procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and monitor imaging quality for diagnostic accuracy.
• Educate and communicate with patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Accurately document exams and maintain records in PACS/RIS systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists and team members to support efficient workflow.
• Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control procedures.
