Qualifications

A busy legal team in Orlando, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal - Real Estate to support attorneys and clients across public finance, real estate, lending, government representation, and affordable housing matters. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a transactional paralegal who enjoys document-heavy work, deadline management, title review, due diligence, and closing coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal support for public finance, real estate, lending, government representation, and affordable housing matters.
• Assist with loan closings, bond transactions, acquisitions, due diligence, and related transactional legal work.
• Draft, review, proofread, organize, and finalize legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct title reviews, public records research, document analysis, and closing preparation.

Compensation and Benefits

• Direct hire opportunity.
• Salary range: $50,000 to $75,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, in-office.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Support transactional legal matters involving real estate, lending, public finance, government representation, and affordable housing.
• Assist attorneys with loan closings, bond transactions, acquisitions, due diligence, and document review.
• Prepare, proofread, organize, and maintain legal documents and closing materials.
• Conduct title review, public records searches, and transaction-related research.
• 3 to 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably within a law firm environment.
• Experience with real estate, lending, loan transactions, public finance, government representation, or affordable housing matters.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, legal procedures, document preparation, and transactional support.
• Experience with title review and public records research.
• Excellent proofreading skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through with minimal supervision.
• Strong typing and word-processing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Centerbase or other cloud-based law firm management or accounting software.
• Prior experience supporting attorneys representing governmental and private clients.
• Familiarity with bond transactions, affordable housing transactions, or public finance matters.
