The Transfer Paralegal will work closely with families, owners, attorneys and internal teams to guide ownership transfers from intake to completion.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of paralegal experience required.
  • ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist families and property owners with property transfer matters through phone, email, and in-person communication.
  • Prepare, review, and process legal documents such as affidavits, transfer agreements, certifications, and name change documentation.
  • Collect and verify trusts, wills, powers of attorney, court orders, notarized documents, and other legal records.
  • Maintain accurate case records, update internal databases, and ensure files are complete and organized.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of ownership transfers.

A well-established organization in Glendale, CA is seeking a Paralegal, with emphasis on Real Estate to support property ownership transfer matters. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented paralegal with experience in estate planning, probate, or real estate transactions who enjoys combining legal documentation, client service, and administrative coordination.

The Transfer Paralegal will work closely with families, property owners, attorneys, and internal departments to help guide sensitive ownership transfer processes from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
  • - Assist families and property owners with property transfer matters through phone, email, and in-person communication.
  • - Prepare, review, and process legal documents such as affidavits, transfer agreements, certifications, and name change documentation.
  • - Collect and verify trusts, wills, powers of attorney, court orders, notarized documents, and other legal records.
  • - Maintain accurate case records, update internal databases, and ensure files are complete and organized.
  • - Collaborate with attorneys and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of ownership transfers.
Compensation and Benefits
  • - Salary range: $90,000 to $97,000 per year.
  • - Direct hire opportunity.
  • - 100% onsite position in Glendale, CA.
  • - Rotating weekends required approximately once per month.
  • - Rotating holidays required.
  • - Clerical assessment required prior to interview, including grammar, spelling, customer service, logical reasoning, and typing tests with a minimum passing score of 80%.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • - Support real estate property ownership transfer matters from intake through completion.
  • - Prepare, review, and organize legal transfer documents and supporting records.
  • - Communicate with families, property owners, attorneys, and internal departments regarding case status and requirements.
  • - Maintain accurate documentation, data entry, and case files under strict deadlines.
  • - 1 to 3 years of paralegal experience required.
  • - ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate required.
  • - High school diploma or GED required.
  • - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • - Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • - Strong customer service skills with the professionalism and compassion needed to handle sensitive family matters.
  • - Valid California driver's license required.
  • - Ability to travel locally between locations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • - Estate planning, probate, or real estate transaction experience strongly preferred.
  • - Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • - Notary Public commission is a plus.
  • - Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
