Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in civil litigation, real estate matters, estate planning, probate, and personal injury cases in the Seattle/Bellevue area.

The role requires handling deadlines, court filings, discovery, case documents, and client communications with accuracy. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment offering meaningful contributions to case strategy and legal operations.

Qualifications

  • Provide litigation support for civil matters from intake through trial preparation and post-judgment activity.
  • Manage discovery coordination, document production, court filings, case calendars, and litigation deadlines.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, summaries, chronologies, and case materials.
  • Support attorneys with personal injury, real estate, estate planning, probate, and related legal matters.
  • 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably with a strong litigation background.
  • Experience supporting civil litigation matters is required.
  • Knowledge of civil procedure, court rules, litigation workflows, discovery processes, and legal document management.
  • Strong legal drafting, proofreading, research, organization, and case management skills.
  • Experience with electronic court filing systems and legal case management software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, confidential information, and detailed case files in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and support staff.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys through all phases of civil litigation, including case intake, discovery, motions, hearings, trial preparation, and post-judgment activities.
  • Draft, review, organize, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and court filings.
  • Manage discovery, document production, case files, exhibits, evidence, deadlines, hearing binders, trial notebooks, and litigation calendars.
  • Assist with personal injury matters by gathering medical records, billing records, insurance documentation, damages materials, and settlement demand packages.
  • Provide support for real estate, estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters, including document preparation, records review, client communication, and file organization.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, courts, medical providers, insurance carriers, expert witnesses, and internal support staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for an opportunity near the Seattle/Bellevue areas. This role supports attorneys across a diverse legal practice, including civil litigation, real estate matters, estate planning, probate, and personal injury cases.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys managing complex matters, supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, and serving as a trusted resource for clients and legal teams. The ideal Litigation Paralegal is proactive, organized, and confident handling deadlines, court filings, discovery, case documents, and client communications with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys through all phases of civil litigation, including case intake, discovery, motions, hearings, trial preparation, and post-judgment activities.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000 per year.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal experience.
  • Experience in personal injury, real estate law, estate planning, probate, or a combination of these practice areas.
  • Experience preparing settlement demand packages, trial notebooks, hearing binders, exhibit lists, estate planning documents, and probate materials.
  • Familiarity with real estate documents, deeds, leases, title issues, recorded documents, property records, and land use research.
  • A proactive work style with the ability to anticipate attorney needs, take ownership of assignments, and maintain highly organized case files.
