Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Paralegal to support a national counsel team in managing motor vehicle financial responsibility (MFR) claims. The role requires five years of automobile insurance defense experience and familiarity with court/document procedures.

The candidate will leverage AI and Firm-approved tools to manage a nationwide docket. The position emphasizes strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple offices while meeting

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of experience with automobile insurance defense, including minimum financial responsibility.
Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in a law related field, or an Associate’s degree with paralegal training.
Significant, substantive legal-related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education at the discretion of the Managing Director.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance to attorneys in all aspects of MFR claim management and litigation, including fact investigation and medical record review.
Draft pleadings, discovery, and related litigation documents; assist with depositions, hearings, and trials.
Coordinate filing of pleadings/documents and arrange for service; maintain calendars and deadlines.
Independently organize and manage files; assist with multiple office collaborations.
