CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a mid-level Paralegal to support a fast-paced legal team. You will report to the Office of General Counsel and handle diverse tasks from document review to discovery management.

The role requires strong research skills, experience with eDiscovery tools, and the ability to prioritize under pressure while delivering precise, high-quality work. Our SF workplace emphasizes collaboration and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or JD or ABA-accredited law student with at least one year of study.
• Two years of litigation paralegal experience preferred; trial experience helpful.
• Experience with federal and state court systems, and legal research resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, accurate, timely paralegal support reporting to the Office of General Counsel.
• Assist with document review and requests for legal advice or technical assistance.
• Perform legal research and synopsizing transcripts for attorney use.
• Prepare drafts of legal memoranda and correspondence.
• Assist in drafting and issuing motions, briefs, and exhibits.
• Review discovery materials for relevancy and privilege.
• Maintain case management records and prepare privilege logs.
• Generate reports on case assignments and productivity using case management databases.
• Coordinate classification reviews with subject matter experts.
