CGS Federal is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join a fast-paced team supporting the Legal department and a diverse portfolio of government accounts. The role emphasizes professional paralegal support, document review, and regulatory research to assist attorneys and ensure timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Requires paralegal certificate, or JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school.
• At least two years of litigation paralegal experience is required.
• Experience in automated litigation support; knowledge of federal/state courts and research resources.
• Excellent written and oral communication; proficient with research tools (LEXIS/Westlaw).
• Familiarity with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging, and eDiscovery tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, accurate, timely, and reliable paralegal support reporting to the OGC and assist LITB or IALB.
• Research and locate responsive information documents and identify relevant laws and decisions.
• Perform moderately complex legal research and draft preliminary memoranda and correspondence.
• Assist in preparing draft legal documents and conduct legal analysis across litigation phases.
• Review discovery materials for relevancy and privilege; prepare privilege logs.
