Job summary

MG+M The Law Firm, with offices in New York, New Jersey, and Edwardsville, IL, seeks a Paralegal Deposition Coordinator. This hybrid role supports deposition tasks, notices, subpoenas, and calendars across jurisdictions, interfacing with attorneys, clients, vendors, and opposing counsel.

You will manage multiple complex matters, ensure timely communication, and uphold rigorous organization and reliability in a fast-paced environment with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in deposition coordination or related legal operations role.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Westlaw, PACER, NYCSEF, eCourts, NYCAL, eTrack, and/or File & Serve Xpress.
• Attendance and punctuality: consistently on time and coverage when absent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attorneys and staff.
• Strong organization and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Customer service: respond promptly to attorney and client requests.
• Dependability: follow instructions, complete tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Teamwork: support colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all deposition tasks for NY/NJ matters.
• Prepare and distribute deposition notices, subpoenas, and related correspondence.
• Maintain deposition calendars, deadlines, and case management records.
• Track transcripts, exhibits, and related documentation.
• Serve as liaison among attorneys, clients, vendors, and opposing counsel for scheduling.
• Provide reporting and administrative support for deposition activities.
• Handle multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.
