Qualifications

• 5+ years’ defense litigation experience in Illinois, New York and New Jersey.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Westlaw, PACER, and File & Serve Xpress.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; interface with attorneys and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.
• Assist with trial preparation, logistics, administrative/case management, client reporting, expert retention, and client communication.
• Monitor case filings and provide detailed assessments to attorneys.
• Draft and prepare initial drafts of pre-trial motions and other pleadings.
• Review discovery documents and other case material.
• Compose case assessments and evaluations for review by associates and partners.
• Contemporaneous accounting and submission of personal billable time.
• Attend trials and assist the trial team with related matters.
