Ogletree Deakins seeks a paralegal to support attorneys with research, document drafting, and case management for matters handled remotely from Boston, MA. The role requires strong research skills, meticulous document preparation, and efficient file organization.
Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, managing case files, calendaring deadlines, and assisting at mediations and trials. Proficiency in MS Office and major legal research tools is essential, with at least one year of experience
Researches law, investigates facts, and prepares documents to assist attorneys. Under general supervision, researches and analyzes law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes to prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals for review, approval, and use by attorney.
The pay range for this remote position varies by location. Pursuant to the applicable state and local regulations the pay range for each location is listed below. Actual compensation is contingent on relevant experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. This role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses and the benefits described below.
