Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited college or university.
• 6+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in labor/employment litigation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, LexisNexis, Westlaw, Live Note, Concordance, Case Map, and billing systems.

• Researches law, investigates facts, and independently prepares documents to assist attorneys with matters.

Position Summary

Our Los Angeles office has an opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join our Labor & Employment practice. The Paralegal researches law, investigates facts, and prepares documents to assist attorneys. The Paralegal also independently researches and analyzes law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes to prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals for review, approval, and use by attorney.

This is a hybrid position.

Requirements

• Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Lexis-Nexis and WestLaw, Live Note, Concordance, Case Map, Docketing, Document Management System, expense and billing systems

Wage Transparency

In accordance with California’s amended labor code as stated in Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this California position is between $72,000 and $135,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job‑related factors as permitted by law. This position qualifies for the benefits below.
