Job summary

HEBARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in Cheyenne, Wyoming is seeking a Paraeducator - General to support teachers and students in the instructional program. You will reinforce curriculum with individuals or small groups, monitor behavior, and provide clerical assistance to teachers and staff.

Under supervision, you will assist in general education, Title 1, ESL, and Gifted and Talented programs. A high school diploma is required; experience with school-age children is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Experience working with school age children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and reach academic goals.
• Monitor and supervise students in classroom, playground, field trips, lunchroom, and buses.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining classroom materials and records; provide clerical support.
