Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required.
• Experience working with school age children preferred.
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a certified teacher, assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and adapt activities.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement IEP objectives and monitor progress.
• Provide clerical support and maintain records as required.
• Monitor and supervise students in various settings to ensure safety and positive behavior.
• Attend meetings and participate in ongoing professional development.
