Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with school-age children and special needs preferred.
• Ability to follow teacher directions and support IEP objectives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and staff.
• Capable of maintaining documentation and basic data collection.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in small groups to practice and reinforce learning concepts.
• Support students' medical and personal needs under supervision.
• Monitor and document student activities and behavior; assist with behavior plans.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement IEP objectives and classroom accommodations.
• Provide clerical support and help maintain materials and records.
• Respond to emergencies and support classroom safety.
